Rebecca and Will’s wedding started off my 2019 wedding season and I have to admit – it was the most perfect way to kick things off! We had a beautiful spring day here in Pennsylvania and the flowering trees were just starting to bloom which created the perfect backdrop for their big day.
The girls got ready at Rebecca’s parent’s home in the most fun, relaxed atmosphere. All of Rebecca’s details were beautifully laid out for me when I arrived so I was able to hop right in and begin styling. I love that she chose to go with tradition and do the “Old-New-Borrowed-Blue” because she was able to honor her grandmothers with charms that were tied around her bouquet and a clutch that has been handed down through her family! A moss-filled glass heirloom jewelry box was also the perfect touch to showcase the couple’s wedding bands.
You might remember from Rebecca and Will’s Engagement session (click HERE to see it) that their dog, Hunter, is extremely photogenic and Rebecca was sure to involve him in their day by bringing him along to surprise Will during their first look at her family’s church in Avondale, PA. After a beautiful Catholic ceremony, we made our way to The Carriage House at Rockwood Park where we completed all of their portraits with the historic museum as a backdrop. Joyful tears were shared throughout the day and it was clear to see just how much these two wonderful people are loved and how perfect they are together.
Rebecca and Will – thank you so much for allowing me to be a small part of your day! I have loved getting to know you two throughout this process and I can’t wait to see where your marriage and careers take you!
