Deirdre and Alex’s wedding at The Carriage House at Rockwood Park was nothing short of breathtaking! I started out the day photographing some amazing details while Deirdre and her girls relaxed before the ceremony at St. Ann’s Church in Wilmington, Delaware.

Once these two said their “I Do’s”, we traveled to The Carriage House at Rockwood Park which happens to be one of my favorite venues! Their staff is amazing to work with and the property is breathtaking no matter what time of year you visit. This historic property has a little something for everyone whether it’s seasonal landscapes, a rose garden or the Carriage House Museum.

The reception kicked off with some fun entrances and heartfelt speeches by the couples’ Maid of Honor and Best Man. John, the owner of Eclipse DJs, kept the dance floor packed all night long! We had such an amazing time celebrating Deirdre & Alex’s wedding at The Carriage House at Rockwood Park and I know you’ll love reliving the day through their photographs! Enjoy!

 

LOVE STORY FROM THE COUPLE: Alex and I have been together for 7 and a half years! We met while working a restaurant job in college. Alex proposed in Rittenhouse Square after a beautiful dinner at Parc. We love to watch movies and tv shows together, along with our dog, Lincoln. One of our favorite things to do is cook together everyday after work, which is when we catch up and talk about our day. We also love to spend time with our family and friends together. Our favorite date night is a fancy dinner in Philly, hence our engagement 🙂 I (Deirdre) am most excited to have every person we love in one room together, celebrating! Alex is most excited to dance the night away and be able to enjoy the day with our friends and family.
